This week’s guest is Melda, our Content Manager. She is responsible for creating all content written on behalf of Vivoo, whether it be articles on our website, the emails we send to our users, and our App & web screens.

Let’s get to know Melda better, as well as how she incorporates wellness in her life.

1) Can you introduce yourself in a few sentences?

Hello, I’m Melda. I’m working as a Content Manager at Vivoo. I worked in similar roles before arriving at Vivoo. I have 3 cats that want all of my attention. Outside of work, I like to be social and spend quality time with my friends and family. I like to go to the theater at least once a month. Last summer, I started canoeing regularly, so I'm patiently waiting for summer to go canoeing again.

2) What do you do at Vivoo, and how long have you been with the company? What do you like about Vivoo?

I started working at Vivoo 2 months ago. What I like best about Vivoo is the people I work with and being part of a great team that brings out my creativity and happiness. Having supportive people around me has boosted my creativity, has made me grow both professionally and personally, and has encouraged me to contribute more.  

3) Can you describe your daily routine? 

The first thing I do after waking up is hydrate! Drinking water in the morning wakes me up and helps me start the day feeling fresh! I feed my cats and do my short morning skincare routine. After that, I have a quick breakfast and start working. I do pilates twice a week to be more active. I also started doing yoga last month. Even though I’m new to yoga, I try to do it once a week. I love walking and live near a lake, so I go for a walk in the afternoons to get some fresh air.

4) What’s a favorite wellness routine that you’ve been into these days?

I’ve been doing reformer pilates for 5 years. I love that it has made me physically stronger, more flexible, and mentally more focused. I feel energized, powerful and confident after each session, knowing that I pushed myself just a bit further than before. I also love walking and try to go out for a walk to get some fresh air regularly. I’ve recently started doing yoga, so I also want to focus on that in the future, as well as on meditation. 

5) What is one tip you would give to someone who wants to start leading a healthier lifestyle?

For anyone looking to have a healthier lifestyle, one of the best tips I can give is to focus on making small, sustainable changes each day rather than trying to make drastic and overwhelming changes all at once. By taking it one day at a time and focusing on small modifications like drinking more water or exercising a bit more, you’ll gradually be able to build healthier habits into your lifestyle that will last for years to come. Focus on making small changes and reward yourself for every success - this will help you stay motivated.

6) What is your favorite thing about Vivoo as a product? 

My favorite thing about Vivoo is that it’s so easy to use! It's simple to set up and the interface is intuitive, so it allows me to get information about my body in a quick and convenient way. Plus, having access to all this meaningful data into my body’s performance helps me manage my wellness and fitness more effectively.

7) How regularly do you test with Vivoo? 

I take a test once a week. I catch colds quite easily, especially during the winter, so checking my Vitamin C levels has been great for keeping tabs on my immune system. Whenever I feel down, I take a test to check in on my body.

8) How do you generally score on your Vivoo test? What is your top score to date? 

My personal best was 8.8! But generally speaking, my scores have ranged between 7.5 to 8. 

9) We know that you love all the wellness parameters on the Vivoo test. :) But which one is your favorite and why? 

My favorite wellness parameter would be Vitamin C. For as long as I remember, my Vitamin C levels have always been on the low side, so I’ve been able to keep better track of it with Vivoo. 

10) What is the greatest source of motivation that keeps you testing with Vivoo? 

The greatest source of motivation for me is the continued awareness that I am proactively taking steps towards improving my overall wellness. Vivoo has been a great resource for guiding me in the right direction, as it has provided me with personalized advice and insight into how I can best achieve my goals. By being able to regularly check my progress, I’ve been motivated to test more frequently so that I can keep on striving towards a more healthy version of myself.
