Advanced Image Processing System

Advanced Image Processing System

Using image processing, our system finds and isolates all regions on the test strip, including the test areas and reference colors. To account for lighting variations, it then corrects image colors using the reference colors before sending the data to machine learning models trained to predict parameter levels based on color and shape.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

If you passed the home urine test, will you pass the lab urine test too?

Please keep in mind that even within the same day, urine composition can vary. Minor fluctuations are a natural part of our body's continuous changes.

The Vivoo urine test is not intended for diagnosing diseases or other conditions. It should not be used to determine the state of user health for curing, mitigating, treating, or preventing any disease or any of its symptoms.

Are home urine tests reliable?

Home urine tests can be reliable for certain purposes, but their accuracy depends on several factors, including the type of test, the quality of the test kit, and how well the test is conducted.

It's crucial to follow the instructions provided with each specific home urine test kit carefully. Factors that can affect the accuracy of these tests include the timing of the test, the handling of the sample, and the quality of the test kit. In some cases, confirmation through professional laboratory testing may be necessary, especially for critical medical diagnoses.

In our detailed accuracy study, we put the Vivoo system and traditional lab methods in a showdown using artificial urine samples. Our goal was to see how well Vivoo could measure various health parameters. We really rolled up our sleeves and analyzed a whopping 2,618 strips to get the full picture.

Here's the exciting part: When we set a rule that the measurements had to be within one color block of each other, we found that 2,608 out of 2,618 measurements from Vivoo were right on the money. That's a success rate of 99.62% ± 0.24%!

So, to put it simply,  we can proudly say that  Vivoo is a dependable and high-performing wellness tool. It meets all the criteria for both reliability and performance.

If you have concerns about your health or need a definitive diagnosis, it's always advisable to consult with a healthcare professional.

What should you avoid before taking a Vivoo urine test?

Vivoo urine tests are designed to provide insights into your wellness based on the analysis of your urine. While the specific instructions may vary depending on the type of Vivoo test you are taking, here are some general guidelines to follow before taking a Vivoo urine test:

  • Do not use strips after the expiration date
  • Urine strips are intended for single use only
  • Used urine strips should be discarded after testing
  • Discard any discolored strips that may have deteriorated

It's essential to read and adhere to the instructions provided with your Vivoo test screen carefully. If you have any doubts or questions about the test preparation, consult Vivoo's customer support for guidance. Following the recommended guidelines will help ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test results.

How do you make a urine sample?

To easily collect a urine sample, first, wash your hands well. Pee into the toilet for a second or two, and while you're going, position the strip under the stream to catch the urine mid-stream.

Do not exceed 2-3 seconds of urination on the strip. Once you've got enough, finish peeing in the toilet. After urination, allow the strip to absorb the urine for 90 seconds. A timer is conveniently displayed on the test screen.

What time of day is best to do a urine test?

You can take a Vivoo urine test at any time; there's no wrong moment. While Vivoo isn't intended for diagnosis, you have the flexibility to test whenever convenient. However, for optimal results, we recommend testing during your first or second urination after waking up. Keep in mind that the initial urination is often denser, and this can impact the results. For those incorporating regular Vivoo tests into their routine, we advise testing at approximately the same time each week.

Is there a mobile app for urine tests?

Yes, there is. Vivoo is a wellness app that offers personalized insights based on the analysis of urine test strips. While it's not a replacement for a comprehensive medical urine test performed in a laboratory, Vivoo provides users with some valuable information about their 9 wellness parameters including, water, urine pH, ketones, calcium, protein, magnesium, sodium, vitamin C and other factors based on the color and chemical reactions of the test strips.

How do you get a perfect urine test?

Getting a "perfect" urine test result typically means that your urine sample meets the specific requirements and criteria set by the company or your healthcare provider. Remember that the specific requirements for a "perfect" urine test can widely vary depending on the purpose of the test. That’s why you should follow instructions carefully.
